Our volunteers are the best!

In 2011, thousands of people donated their time to volunteer at the Food Bank.  It's estimated the Food Bank would need to hire eight additional full-time employees to complete the work done by our volunteers.  The dedicated service and generosity of our volunteers make it possible for Food Bank for the Heartland to continue its mission of eliminating hunger in the community. There are many opportunities for individuals, families, businesses, schools and organizations to get involved at the Food Bank.
