Shine the Light on Hunger is a significant component of Omaha's Holiday Lights Festival. The campaign to help relieve hunger in the Omaha area kicks off on Thanksgiving Day with the illumination of over one million twinkling lights on Thanksgiving night. Back for a second year, the ConAgra Foods ice rink provides a family-friendly attraction to the Holiday Lights Festival while mobilizing the community in an effort to give back to those in need.
About the ConAgra Food Ice Rink
As presenting sponsor of the Holiday Lights Festival, ConAgra Foods will construct a temporary ice-skating  rink on its campus. Admission is $5 and includes skate rental. All proceeds from the ConAgra Foods skating rink will be donated to The Food Bank. The ConAgra Foods Foundation will match ice rink donations dollar-for-dollar up to $100,000.
The public is encouraged to bring donations of non-perishable food items and household goods to drop into collection bins, which will be distributed to families in need by The Food Bank.

Sunday – Thursday: 1 – 10 pm
Friday & Saturday: 1 pm – Midnight
Christmas Eve & New Year’s Eve: 1 – 5 pm
